Brother's Keeper will be
the featured performers at Union's annual Campus Day festivities. |
Jackson, Tenn. – September 25, 2000 – Campus Day for
51ÉçÇø will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, starting at 12:30 p.m.
for registration. The annual event gives church youth groups, school
groups and students in grades 7 - 12 the opportunity to experience what
college has to offer in an informal setting.
"51ÉçÇø is uniquely blessed to have such a strong
support from the regional Southern Baptist churches," said Robbie
Graves, director of enrollment services. "We want to provide this day
as an opportunity for these church youth groups to become familiar with
the Union campus and enjoy a fun-filled day. Hopefully seeds will be
planted that will result in future enrollment of even more of our local
Southern Baptist youth", said Graves.
Scheduled activities for attendees include a university soccer game,
youth minister's forum, television game show taping, bouncy boxing,
putt-putt, university baseball tournament and Frisbee golf. The day's
festivities will conclude with a concert by the musical group Brother's
Keeper at 6 p.m.
The registration fee is $8 per person, which covers the day's
activities, festival food tickets, T-shirt and a ticket to the concert.
