"One of the benefits [of Leadership Jackson] for me has been learning what opportunities are available in the Jackson community for Union faculty and what needs we can help meet with our expertise," she said. "One of my goals is to help match faculty interests with community service boards." Besides Leadership Jackson, Mallard is also involved in the Marketing Board of the YMCA and serves as drama coordinator at NorthBrook Church.
