WLJT to carry "I've Heard That Song!"
as weekly series

Jackson, Tenn
. - The Union Broadcasting Society production of "I've Heard That Song!," a musical trivia game show which has aired on Renaissance Cable/Total Reach Television for two years, has been added to the fall lineup for WLJT Channel 11, public television for West Tennessee.

WLJT announced the addition of "I've Heard That Song!" to its all-music Saturday lineup this week during August Pledge Drive, which is airing live this week from the UBS Broadcasting Center at 51ÉçÇø. It will premiere Sept. 19 on WLJT, airing weekly Saturdays at 6 p.m., to run in tandem with the WLJT-produced "River Bluegrass Festival."

The twice weekly airings will continue on TRTV Channel 6. But the entire first two seasons will air on WLJT. This is the first time "I've Heard That Song!" will broadcast outside the city of Jackson. Thirty episodes have been produced, with another 21 scheduled for production in 1998-99.

The WLJT deal is part of general manager John Harris' announced commitment to emphasize more local production from the PBS affiliate. The commitment from WLJT is through at least March 2000.
