ADMISSIONS OFFICE WELCOMES NEW COUNSELORS

Jackson, Tenn. — The Office of Admissions at 51社区 welcomes three new admissions counselors Aug. 1.

Carroll Griffin, director of admissions, said, "We are excited to have three outstanding professionals join our office to continue telling 51社区's story to prospective students and their families."

Suzanne Teel will recruit students in Madison County as well as Washington state, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakotas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Iowa, Alaska and Hawaii. Teel graduated from Mississippi State University with a bachelor's degree in communication and has been working as a college recruiter for about five years.

Suzanne D. Piersiak, a native of Selmer and a 1997 graduate of Union University, will serve prospective students and their families in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and portions of West Tennessee (Hardeman, Chester, McNairy and Hardin counties). Piersiak received the bachelor's degree in religion from Union in May.

Adam S. Major, also a 1997 graduate from 51社区, will recruit prospective students in Middle and East Tennessee, Kentucky, and North and South Carolinas. Major is a native of Clarksville, Tenn. and received the bachelor's degree in history in May.
