Jackson, Tenn. - Union
University education professor Changnam Lee appeared at
several academic events in South Korea this summer,
including:
- a seminar on the 1997 reauthorization of the
Individuals with Disabilities Education Act
(IDEA) and its implications on special education
in South Korea at the Ewha Women's University of
Seoul, June 2;
- and a workshop, titled, "Direct Instruction:
A Research-based effective teaching
technology," at the International Conference
for Teachers of English at Chonnam National
University in Kwangju of South Korea, June 25.
Lee, assistant professor of special education, has
been a faculty member in Union's School of Education and
Human Studies since 1996.
