Jackson, Tenn. Roger Stanley, assistant professor of English at 51ÉçÇø, recently published "The Efficacy of Grace in Willa Cather and Flannery O'Connor."
The article appeared in a recent double issue of Literature and Belief, a journal that is respected in the English and literature disciplines.
Stanley, who joined Union's faculty in 1990 received the bachelor's of arts degree from Appalachian State University in 1983 and the master's of art from East Tennessee State University in 1987. He has completed additional study at the University of Mississippi, University of Nebraska and the University of Memphis.
