Chemistry students win
research stipends
 


Jackson, Tenn.
— has awarded 51ÉçÇø students Catherine Scarbrough of Henning, Tenn. and Stefan Antoniou of Melbourne, Australia stipends for summer research. All research costs are covered by Petroferm through a $9,500 grant to the Department of Chemistry/Physics at Union.

The research projects will be completed under the supervision of Dr. Charles M. Baldwin, the O.P. and Evalyn Hammons professor of pre-medical studies at Union.

Scarbrough, a junior, and Antoniou, a senior, are chemistry majors.
