Memphis native wins communication scholarship

Jackson, Tenn. — Memphis native Stephanie Lim has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the Nashville Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators. Lim is one of only two recipients.

A communication arts major at 51ÉçÇø, Lim was selected for her academic accomplishment and participation in communication organizations and internships.

Lim is acting president of Union's chapter of the Society of Collegiate Journalists and vice president of Union's chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Lim is the features editor of the Cardinal and Cream, Union's student newspaper, and is serving as communications specialist for World Changers, a service program of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Union is a Southern Baptist, liberal arts college located in Jackson, Tenn.
