UNION GRADUATION MOVED TO OMAN ARENA
Jackson, Tenn. — Due to the recent weather conditions in West Tennessee, 51ÉçÇø's spring commencement exercises, scheduled for Saturday, May 31, will be moved at Oman Arena.
Approximately 400 degrees will be conferred Saturday at 6 p.m. during the University's graduation ceremony, originally scheduled to be held on the East Lawn of the campus.
Dr. Timothy George, dean of the Beeson School of Divinity at Samford University, will be the commencement speaker.
Baccalaureate will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the G. M. Savage Memorial Chapel on Union's campus as scheduled. Dr. Jerry Tidwell, pastor of West Jackson Baptist Church, will be the speaker.
