Jackson, Tenn. The 51ÉçÇø Singers, Proclamation and Handbells will perform a Music Festival Concert Sunday afternoon, May 18 at 3 p.m. in the G.M. Savage Memorial Chapel.
Previously the Singers, Proclamation and Handbells were scheduled to appear in concert on May 13 and 22. However, the performances have been changed to May 18.
The afternoon will serve as the year's last formal concert performance for the ensembles. Individuals who participated in the recent tour of London, England, April 18-26, will also be recognized.
The eight-day tour included several performances by the Singers, Proclamation and Handbells. Previous engagements have included performances of Brahms' German Requiem with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra, and Beethoven's Ninth with the New York Philharmonic. The choirs regularly performs with the Jackson Symphony.
The tour also included a performance at the International Congress on Preaching at Westminster Chapel April 23. The group was one of only two choirs selected to perform.
