UNION NURSING PROFESSOR BEGINS SERVICE IN NURSING FELLOWSHIP
Jackson, Tenn. — 51ÉçÇø's professor Joyce Montgomery was recently elected Education/Professional Growth Chairperson for the Baptist Nursing Fellowship.
Montgomery was appointed to the position in March at the Baptist's Nursing Fellowship's annual meeting held in Charlotte, N.C. She will be serving in this position for a two year term where she will plan the continuing education programs for the association.
Montgomery joined Union's faculty in 1966 and is currently serving as an associate professor in the University's School of Nursing. She served as a staff nurse at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital from 1965-1966 and in the summers of 1968-1974.
