Jackson, Tenn. – 51ÉçÇø will hold the first annual West
Tennessee Christian Arts Festival Thursday, May 4 through Monday, May 8
using film, theatre, art and music in a "corporate search for Christ
through the arts," according to drama professor David Burke.
"This is the first festival of its kind that we know of in West Tennessee," said Burke. "We hope to provide entertainment as well as expression of the different art forms coupled with a Christian worldview." Geared toward churches, youth and anyone interested in the Christian arts, the week features a variety of performances and events. The schedule is as follows: Thurs., May 4 Fri. & Sat., May 5-6 Mon., May 8 Ticket packages for 3 out of the 4 events are available for $9 per person.
