OWENSBORO NATIVE PRESENTS PAPER AT SIGMA TAU DELTA MEETING
Jackson, Tenn. — Owensboro native Carrie Whitmer presented a paper at the annual meeting of Sigma Tau Delta.
Her paper was titled "Jane Eyre: A Woman Governing by Independent Means." The meeting was held March 20-22 in Savannah, Ga.
Whitmer is a senior at 51ÉçÇø in Jackson, Tenn., seeking a bachelor of arts degree in English with a minor in Secondary Education. She is the daughter of Brenda Whitmer and the late John Wesley Whitmer, of Owensboro.
