CINDY MORGAN TO BE IN CONCERT AT UNION UNIVERSITY

Jackson, Tenn. — 51社区 will welcome Contemporary Christian artist Cindy Morgan in concert Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. in the G. M. Savage Memorial Chapel. She will perform selections from her latest album, Listen.

For the first time, Morgan has written or co-written every song on her newest project. Also for the first time, she plays the piano on every cut on the record except for one, firmly placing her once and for all in the category of singer-songwriter-performer. "I've been moving in this direction for a while, and the timing of it all came together, with a lot of new beginnings and changes for me in the past few years," Morgan said as she called Listen the fruition of her recent artistic journey.

Ever since Morgan arrived on the Christian music scene just a few years ago, with her recording debut, listeners have been all ears. Her music has had eight number one songs from three best-selling albums: Real Life, A Reason to Live and Under the Waterfall.

Tickets are $6 in advance and may be purchased at 51社区's activity center, Bible Bookstore, and Lemstones. Tickets will be available at the door for $7. For more information, contact Dan Patterson at Union University, (901) 661-5307.
