University will sponsor the annual West Tennessee
Regional Science Fair on campus Friday, April 9. The special event will feature over 120 projects by fifth-12 graders from over 30 schools in West Tennessee. The display will be open for public viewing in the Fred Delay Gymnasium from 1-7 p.m. In addition to the project display, a special awards ceremony will be open to the public. The awards, sponsored by Union and private agencies, corporations and the U.S. military, will be presented at 7 p.m. in the Harvey Lecture Hall of the Student Union Building. Senior division winners of the competition will go on to the International Intel Science Fair and Engineering Fair in Philadelphia, Penn. this May. The Science Fair and awards ceremony are free of charge to the public. |
