The April 7 program will consider how Christians relate to the world of business. Some of the questions to be considered: Can you be successful without cutting ethical corners? How does Christian faith help in your business? Among the guests will be two Union business faculty: Dr. Sam Myatt and Dr. Steve Strombeck. Future topics will include: Choosing a College That Counts (April 14), The Challenge for the Church (April 21), and Can We Win the Culture Wars? (April 28). The first program, which was broadcast March 31, was entitled, "Can You Vote Your Faith?" and dealt with the relationship of religious faith to political life. A special feature of the program will be the opportunity to call the program and visit with the guests. "We look forward to allowing people across West Tennessee to call in and participate in some great discussions on significant topics that affect all of our lives," Duduit says. In addition to over-the-air broadcast, the program will be available via the Internet to listeners around the world. The address is and requires Windows Media Player (which is available for download for no cost). "We want this to be an interesting and engaging program that realistically deals with the way faith relates to a variety of issues in our society, from politics to business to popular entertainment," explains Duduit. Most of the guests will be drawn from Union's faculty, but guests will also include civic and church leaders from throughout West Tennessee. Duduit, who will host the program weekly, also serves as Associate Professor of Christian Studies at Union and is editor of Preaching magazine, a professional journal for ministers. Related Story: |
