Jackson, Tenn. - Film critic, best-selling author and nationally syndicated radio talk show host Michael Medved will be the keynote speaker for 51ÉçÇø's Union Forum, Friday, April 14 at noon in the Coburn Dining Room.

"The Union Forum is designed to bring key thought leaders to our community, and Michael Medved will certainly help bring us understanding of the pop culture we live in today," says Michael Duduit, Union's Executive Vice President. Duduit is also the host of a new radio show, CrossPoint, which airs weekly on WWGM in Jackson.

Most noted for his book "Hollywood Vs. America," Medved is a graduate of Yale and Yale Law School. After working as a screenwriter in Hollywood, he reviewed movies for CNN and later as chief film critic for the New York Post.

Medved has been a frequent guest on all of the major TV talk shows, including Larry King Live, Nightline, Good Morning America and countless others. His columns on media and society appear regularly in USA Today, where he serves as a member of the board of contributors.

Designed to be a forum for lively conversation with the nation's leaders and thinkers, the Union Forum hosts two speakers each spring. Political commentator Robert Novak spoke this past February.
