Jackson, Tenn. 51ÉçÇø junior Sarah Aldridge and senior Blake Neeley joined three communication arts faculty members to attend the Southern States Communication Association's annual conference April 2-6.
The five-day conference, held in Savannah, Ga., is a regional meeting of communication researchers and scholars.
Aldridge presented a paper titled "Ethics: The Road to Stronger Organizations" while Neeley presented research titled "Sports Information and the Internet."
Kina Mallard, associate professor and chair of the communication arts department at Union, presented a paper titled "The Team's Next Step: The Use of Peers in the Evaluation Process. She also chair a panel titled "Men and Masculinity: Invention and Imagination."
Steve Beverly and Janice Wood, instructors of communication arts, also attended the conference.
