UNION SENIOR ART EXHIBITION OPENS APRIL 18
Jackson, Tenn. — 51社区's Art Gallery will host the 1997 Senior Exhibition featuring work by seniors Monica Biter, Ray Gregory, Susan McClain, Michael Rowland and Jennifer Thompson.
The annual exhibition, featuring the work of graduating art majors, opens April 18 and closes May 14. The show will include pieces in paintings, sculpture, graphic design, photography and drawing.
Michael Mallard, chair of the department of art, said, "This exhibit will showcase the best works of seniors in Union's art department."
The final exhibit of the year will open May 19, following the senior show, and will be the annual student exhibitions, a display of many Union students' art work.
The 51社区 Art Gallery is located in the Penick Academic Complex and is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.. For more information on this or other shows, contact the Art Department at (901) 661-5289.
