UNION FILMMAKER TO HOST OFFICIAL PREMIERE OF DOCUMENTARY
Jackson, Tenn. — 51ÉçÇø will present the official premiere of the documentary film "The Hatchie River" by Julian Williamson Thursday, April 17 at 8 p.m. in W. D. Powell Theatre.
Williamson, Union's technical coordinator, said "The film is a lyrical documentary exploring the relationship between myself, my family and a meandering West Tennessee wetland river."
The 16-minute film will be followed by a short discussion with the filmmaker.
Williamson, who graduated from Union in 1990 with a bachelor of arts degree in communication arts, recently completed his master of arts in film degree from The University of Memphis.
