Jackson, Tenn. 51ÉçÇø's Charles Baldwin, professor and chair of the department of chemistry, was the invited speaker for the Seminar Series of the Department of Chemistry at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, Tenn. Feb. 28.
Baldwin's topic was "Reactions of Trithiazyl Trichloride with Highly-Substituted Pyrroles." The presentation was delivered to about 60 faculty and students in chemistry and chemical engineering.
Baldwin is the president of The Jackson Symphony Association, a member of the Instituional Research Board of Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, a board member of the Tennessee Science Teachers Association and a member of the Jackson--Old Hickory Rotary Club.
