UNION CO-SPONSORS SEVERE WEATHER SEMINAR

Jackson, Tenn. — The season for severe weather has already come upon West Tennessee. Now, local residents have the opportunity to become official National Weather Service SKYWARN Storm Spotters while learning how to protect themselves from severe weather.

51ÉçÇø's Office of Safety and Security joins the Jackson-Madison County Emergency Management Agency, WBBJ-TV and the National Weather Service to sponsor a severe weather seminar Saturday, March 22.

The seminar will be held in the G. M. Savage Memorial Chapel on Union's campus from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Participants will receive instruction in evaluating weather conditions and they will be trained in the appropriate response manners.
