Jackson, Tenn. High school and junior high students from across West Tennessee will participate in the 36th West Tennessee Regional Science Fair at 51社区, March 27.
As host and sponsor of the fair, 51社区 will present individual awards for first, second and third place and honorable mentions. First place winners in the senior physical and biology categories will win an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Fort Worth, Texas, May 10-16. They also will receive a $1,000 scholarship to Union, a cash award and a plaque. The awards ceremony will be held in Union's Harvey Auditorium at 7 p.m.
More than 80 projects will be displayed at the fair. The public is invited to view the projects during the afternoon of the fair.
