Union professor's first book offers
insight into doctrine and salvation

Jackson, Tenn. - Greg Thornbury, professor of theology at 51社区 and director of the Center for Christian Leadership, has written his first publication titled, "Who Will Be Saved?" Published by Crossway Books, Thornbury served as co-editor with Paul R. House, as well as co-author.

Greg A. Thornbury"This book addresses the most critical theological questions in dispute among those who claim to be evangelicals today - questions like: does God know the future? Is God all-powerful? Must one personally confess Jesus Christ to be saved?" says Thornbury.

"In this volume," explains Thornbury, "several of the leading evangelical theologians of our time answer these questions with a resounding yes and warn the church against those who teach otherwise."

Divided into three distinct sections, the main theme of the book, according to Thornbury, is the doctrine of God and salvation.

"There are an increasing number of people who call themselves evangelical Christians, yet who claim that God is not all-powerful or all knowing," says Thornbury. "They also teach that one can be saved apart from Jesus Christ. This book is a response to these theological errors, and it gives a biblical understanding of how to be saved."

"Who Will Be Saved?" can be found at Lifeway Christian Store at 51社区 and most Christian bookstores for $19.95. It can also be found at .
