ENGLISH PROFESSORS PRESENT PAPERS AT STATE CONFERENCE
Jackson, Tenn. — Two 51社区 professors recently presented papers at the Tennessee Philological Association meeting in Chattanooga, Tenn. Feb. 21-23.
Ernest Pinson, university professor of English, presented a paper titled "Art and Poetry of Walter Anderson" at the annual meeting of teachers of English, language and philosophy.
Roger Stanley, assistant professor of English, presented "The Cold Mountain Poems and the Ethos of Gary Snyder."
Stanley joined the 51社区 faculty in 1990 while Pinson became a professor at the University in 1969.
