HARRIS PRESENTS PAPER AT REGIONAL MEETING
Jackson, Tenn. — John Harris, 51ÉçÇø associate professor of English, recently presented a paper at the regional meeting of the American Conference for Irish Studies, Feb. 20-22.
Harris' paper was titled "The Not-So-Insular Islands: Traces of Continental Literacy in Gaelic Oral Traditions."
Harris, who joined the Union faculty in 1993, recently reviewed St. Augustine's Confessions, Books 1-4. The review was published in volume 45 of Christianity & Literature.
