STUDENT'S BIOLOGY RESEARCH PUBLISHED
Jackson, Tenn. — Elizabeth Morgan, a senior pre-med student at 51ÉçÇø, has been recognized for her biology research.
Morgan's research was supported by a Medical University of South Carolina Undergraduate Research Fellowship and was conducted in the summer of 1995. The results of her work were incorporated in the April 1996 issue of The Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics.
She won a Best Student Paper Award for her presentation of this work at the Tennessee Academy of Science in the spring of 1996. The paper also won the Junior Alpha Chi Award in the 1996 competition.
Morgan is a Biology major and the daughter of Tom and Gail Morgan, Arlington.
