FIFTH ANNUAL HONDURAS MISSION TRIP PROVES SUCCESSFUL

Jackson, Tenn. — More than 2,000 patients were treated in the week-long clinic as part of 51社区's fifth Honduras mission trip to Pavana, Honduras, Central America Jan. 18-25.

A 43-member team, comprised of 13 51社区 students and 30 medical professionals and support staff from West Tennessee hosted a week-long clinic to help meet the medical, dental and veterinary needs of Pavana while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Melinda Jordan, coordinator of international programs, issued a statistical report of the mission trip's results. "All the reports indicate that is was an excellent week," she said.

Jordan said the mission trip participants usually get as much out of the trip as the people to whom they minister. "It affects how they look at their world and what God expects them to do with their blessings," she said.
