CONTANCE KNOX CARROLL TO PERFORM AND LECTURE
Jackson, Tenn. — 51社区 joins the West Tennessee Music Teachers Association to present pianist Contance Knox Carroll, Feb. 20-21.
Carroll, a native of Arizona, will present a recital featuring works by Mozart, Beethoven, Poulenc and Chopin Thursday, Feb. 20 at 8 p.m. She began piano studies at the age of five and has received acclaim for her performances as a recitalist, a chamber musician and an orchestral soloist.
On Friday, Feb. 21, Carroll will lead a master class at 10 a.m. and will lecture on "Keys to Listening" at 1:30 p.m. The recital, master class, and lecture are free to the public and will be held in Room D-3 at 51社区.
