Novak will speak at 51社区's Union Forum on

Jackson, Tenn. - Robert Novak, columnist of "Inside
Report," one of the longest-running syndicated political columns in
the nation, will open 51社区's second annual Union Forum
luncheon series, Feb. 11, at 12 p.m. in the university's Coburn Dining
Room.
Novak currently serves as a commentator for CNN, where he co-hosts the
"Evans and Novak" interview program, appears on and serves as
co-executive producer of CNN's political roundtable "Capital
Gang" and regularly co-hosts "Crossfire."
His most recent book is "Completing the Revolution: A Vision for
Victory in 2000." His other books include "Agony of the GOP:
1964," and in collaboration with Rowland Evans, Jr., he has also
written "Lyndon B. Johnson: The Exercise of Power," "Nixon
in the White House," and "The Reagan Revolution."
Novak also produces a twice-monthly newsletter with Evans, titled the
"Evans-Novak Political Report."

Designed to be a forum for lively conversation with the nation's
leaders and thinkers, the Union Forum hosts two speakers each spring.
Radio talk show host and film critic Michael Medved will be this spring's
second speaker. The Medved luncheon will be April 14, at 12 p.m. in
Union's Coburn Dining Room.
