Union University Players
present 'A Night of Emotions'

Jackson, Tenn. - "A Night of Emotions" brings three one-act plays to the W.D. Powell Theater at 51社区, Feb. 4 and 5, at 7:30 p.m. The student-directed one acts are "Haiku," by Katherine Snodgrass, "Dog Eat Dog," by Tim Kelly, and "What Did You Say What For?" by James Paul Dey.

A Southwestern desert shack is the setting in "Dog Eat Dog," where two young boys are faced with their crimes and given hard choices on how to escape. The drama stars senior Blake Staples, sophomore James Nolan and sophomore Jeremy Bishop. Senior Benjamin Wilkinson will direct the performance.

"Haiku" reveals a story about a girl as unique as the Haiku she writes. The play stars junior Abby Thomas, senior Jill Hutchison and junior Mary Catherine Bond. Senior Jennifer Shearon will direct the performance.

"What Did You Say What For?" involves a chance meeting. The main characters, played by junior Tabitha Geho and Union alumni Chris and Ellen Bennett, walk away from the encounter with two separate experiences. One person will never forget the experience; the other will have no recollection of it. Senior Alithia Geho will direct the performance.

Tickets can be purchased starting Jan. 27. Tickets are $4 general admission and $3 for students. The 51社区 Box Office may be reached at (901) 661-5101.
