Jackson, Tenn. — The Union Broadcasting Society will present a documentary titled The Boys of West Tennessee" on WLJT Jan. 30 at 9 p.m.
The one hour documentary features a living memoir of 32 West Tennessee World War II veterans. Harbert Alexander, Madison County historian, will introduce the special. Steve Beverly, Union's instructor of Communication Arts, will narrate the program.
The Union Broadcasting Society exists for students who are interested in the broadcasting field. The Society seeks to strengthen students' contacts with professionals in the broadcasting industry and to give them experience through working with programs such as The Boys of West Tennessee."
