UNION WELCOMES LOCAL ARTIST TO GALLERY
Jackson, Tenn. — 51社区 will host local artist Lendon Noe from Jackson for a Gallery Talk and reception Thursday, Feb. 6 at 5 p.m.
Noe recently opened a show titled "Wonderland" in 51社区's Art Gallery. The exhibit runs through Feb. 12. During the Gallery Talk and reception, Noe will discuss her artwork.
Noe, an associate professor of art at Lambuth University, has been actively involved in the Jackson community. She was employed as an art teacher for Old Hickory Academy and the Jackson City School System prior to her current position at Lambuth. Noe also served as the director of the Jackson Arts Council from 1978 until 1981.
The 51社区 Art Gallery is located in the Penick Academic Complex and is open Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.. For more information on this or other shows, contact the Art Department at (901) 661-5289.
