Jackson, Tenn. 51社区's Department of Sociology and Social Work sponsored the participation of 11 students in the Fifth Annual Tennessee Undergraduate Social Science Symposium Nov. 14-15.

Union's students wrote their papers as part of classes with Lytle Givens, professor of sociology and department chair, and Diana Rowan, assistant professor of social work and social work program director. The symposium was hosted by Middle Tennessee State University's Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work.
