Union students who were home educated have led in a variety of campus activities including research, student government, media, theater, academics, residence life, honors and more. The Elizabeth Tigrett Medal is the most prestigious academic and character award at Union, given at the end of each year's commencement exercises. Nine of the last 12 recipients were previously homeschooled.

Admission Checklist

- Step 2: Have your official transcript and ACT, SAT or CLT scores sent to us.

Homeschool Dual Enrollment
Learn More Outstanding area home schooled students may be admitted to take a maximum of 24 credit hours during their junior and senior years of high school on a space available basis. A personal conference with the Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Admissions is required before the student is accepted for admission. A 20 ACT Composite or a 940 SAT (combined Critical Reading and Math scores) is required.
